Bengals Position by Position Breakdown: Day #10 P
This has got to be the easiest day overall. It starts and ends with Kevin Huber. The second year player out of the University of Cincinnati showed some huge potential over the course of his rookie year and looks to grow on that in the upcoming season. The guy has a cannon attached to his right leg and has the ability to really pin the opposing team deep in their own territory. To me his biggest strength is the ability to not have to punt it in the end-zone as he is good enough to get the ball to drop inside the 20 himself. Something he needs to work on would probably be his focus on driving the from the tee on punts without over kicking and sending the ball out of bounds not to far from where he kicked it. The only trouble he had in 2009 seemed to come from when he was over kicking and “aiming” the ball. Kevin Huber has the potential to be one of the best in the league and will be the only punter the Bengals carry into the regular season.
