Tiger’s HGH Doctor drawing connections to NFL teams
Tiger Woods is know to have visited Dr. Anthony Galea for medical treatment during his career. Galea has been accused of supplying HGH (Human Growth Hormone) to his patients, many of whom where athletes. Today Dr. Galea was arrested as he was traveling to treat one of his patients who just so happens to be a member of the Washington Redskins. Upon Galea’s arrest the police discovered a type of HGH on one of Galea’s assistants. The NFL has previously said that Dr. Galea has increased the need to develop a true test for HGH in NFL players, as there is currently no way for the NFL to successfully test its players for the banned substance. This factor may help the player who was allegedly set to receive the HGH treatment from Galea, as that information, along with the other names of NFL players he supplied HGH to, will not come out unless it comes from a confession from Galea. This is yet another recent case of steroid use in the NFL, and the league would be wise to put an end to this as quickly as possible. Most likely this is just another case that will just push the league even harder into finding a successful test for HGH and other performance enhancers.
